Gamtoos Castle is a charming retreat located on the banks of the Gamtoos River, in the picturesque Kouga region, just 18km a 20 min drive outside of Jeffreys Bay on the R102. It provides the ideal setting to relax and organize your perfect event. Surrounded by majestic mountains and the serene river, our guests can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We offer a selection of 10 rooms, each equipped with a comfortable double bed. For those planning a romantic getaway, we have a stunning honeymoon suite available. This suite features a separate living area, a kitchen, and an en-suite bathroom with a luxurious private outdoor shower.

We have a variety of colourful rooms to choose from. Each room is equipped with a double bed, small cupboard, a standing fan and bath towels.

Meals are optional and can be enjoyed at our neighbours, the Gamtoos Ferry Hotel, with their delicious menu to choose from. We also specialise in catering for events with the option in the wood fire pizza oven.

Events
We capture any event in a memorable occasion. We are the perfect choice for events between 20-50 people, from birthday parties to baby showers and ideal for business team buildings.
Outdoor
Our most popular choice are fishing, kayaking, sand boarding and swimming in the river. We also offer boat trips with picknic on the riverbank.
